Hi everyone, on this pages I'll tell you what I liked and I didn't like about my trip to Chicago. All I'm going to write and show you in my experience, so, all my opinions are by myself and may be it's not going to be the same as you think.
First, I felt so exciting when Paula Rojas (English Coordinator from AIEP, Santiago - Chile) told me that I won the scholarship which I applied in order to come to Chicago so that improve my English
My name is Antonio Jorquera, I'm from San Fernando, a city located in the central valley in Chile, It's known as Colchagua Valley and It's famous because its harvest and vineyard. I teach English at AIEP institute (Academic of Languages and Professional Studies)
As I was telling you, I felt very excited with that piece of new so I started to prepare my suitcases... and the moment to take the aircraft arrived... I was so nervous, when the plane was taking off Santiago I felt so bad, I felt dizzy and I'd got a horrible headache, I thought that was the worst... but when the plane landed in Chicago there was a lot of turbulence and it made the situation awful, it was not a good experience, but how it was my first one I hope the following one will be better.
The food is delicious and the group is very nice. Teachers are so happy and interesting...
Something that caught my eyes was that Chicago is a Multicultural City whatever you watch you'll find someone from another country.
Jessica, my roommate is very nice and the other students too, we enjoy a lot together. Where are we? I left my card! It's cold! and Go and rest! are the most expressions that we say...
